About Earn4

Recruiting shouldn't feel like guessing.

College baseball recruiting is often spread across spreadsheets, emails, videos, calendars, and advice from different places. Families are left trying to understand what matters, what comes next, and whether they are doing enough.

Earn4 brings the process together with a grade-based roadmap, tools to organize schools and communication, guidance for each stage of recruiting, and a professional way for players to present themselves to coaches. It helps players take ownership of the process while giving families a clearer way to support them.

Prepare for it. Work for it. Earn your four.

About the founder
Sam Troyer, founder of Earn4, inside a baseball training facility.

Built by someone who lived the recruiting process.

I went through recruiting twice—first as a high-school player trying to understand the process, and again at the JUCO level, where I learned how to create opportunities through communication, organization, and consistent follow-up.

01

High school recruiting

I was an All-State player, but I did no outreach and received only four college offers. I had no idea how to get in front of coaches or create opportunities for myself.

02

JUCO recruiting

At the JUCO level, I became intentional about communication, organization, putting strong video in coaches' hands, presenting myself effectively, and tracking the process. That approach led to offers from 35 NCAA Division I programs.

03

Building Earn4

After playing NCAA Division I and professional baseball and training more than 100 players, I created the system I wished families had.

My goal is not to promise a roster spot. It is to give players the structure, knowledge, and tools to earn every opportunity available to them.

The meaning behind the name

Why "Earn4"?

Earn4 represents the opportunity to earn four years of college baseball.

A roster spot is not purchased, promised, or guaranteed. It is earned through preparation, development, communication, academics, consistency, and work over time.

Earn4 exists to help players take ownership of that process—and to give families a clearer way to support it.

A roster spot is earned, not bought.
