Submitting a copyright infringement notice

A notice of claimed infringement should include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), including:

• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to allow Earn4 to locate it;
• contact information for the complaining party, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
• a statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is the copyright owner or is authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and
• a physical or electronic signature of the complaining party.

An incomplete notice may delay Earn4's review. Earn4 may investigate copyright complaints and may remove or disable access to content where appropriate, and may restrict or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of any particular outcome or of the availability of any statutory limitation on liability.

Counter-notification

If content you submitted was removed or disabled in response to a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to the Copyright Agent above, consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A counter-notification generally includes your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction described in the statute.

Earn4 may forward a counter-notification to the party who submitted the original notice. Copyright notices and counter-notifications are legal statements; you may wish to consult an attorney before submitting one.
