Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Earn4 memberships are billed, cancelled, and reviewed for refunds. It applies to athlete and family memberships purchased from Earn4 LLC ("Earn4"). This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service, and terms defined there have the same meaning here.

Earn4 memberships are generally nonrefundable once a billing period begins. Earn4 will, however, review qualifying refund requests and may approve a refund or another reasonable resolution in appropriate circumstances. This Policy is not a money-back guarantee.

2. Membership and billing

Earn4 offers one membership with two billing options: $79 per month or $790 per year. Membership fees are charged in advance for the billing period you select, and the membership renews automatically at the end of each period using your saved payment method until it is cancelled.

Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Earn4 does not store your full card details. Earn4 remains responsible for communicating and applying this Policy; your refund eligibility with Earn4 is governed by this Policy and applicable law.

Earn4 does not currently offer a free trial. Any future trial, promotional, or discounted offer will state its own terms at the time of purchase.

3. How charges appear and where to ask questions

Charges may appear on your payment statement using Earn4's name and/or identifying information associated with our payment processor. If a charge looks unfamiliar, please contact us before assuming it is unauthorized.

You can reach us through the Contact page or at support@earn4.app. Transaction-level billing, receipt, and refund communications may also be provided to you through our payment processor.

4. Cancelling a membership

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription inside the app. Cancellation:

  • stops the next automatic renewal;
  • keeps full paid access through the end of your current billing period;
  • then places your athlete/family account into read-only status, described in Section 5;
  • preserves your account data, subject to the Privacy Policy and our retention practices;
  • does not automatically refund the current billing period; and
  • does not create a prorated refund for unused days.

Available subscription-management options are shown when you open Manage subscription. If a billing change produces a credit, an additional charge, or a proration, the amount shown and accepted at the time of the change will apply.

Scheduled cancellation and resuming

If you have scheduled a cancellation but your current paid period has not yet ended, you may be able to resume the membership where that option remains available through our billing system. Resuming restores automatic renewal under the billing terms shown to you at that time.

Cancelling a membership is not the same as deleting an account

Cancelling a membership ends future automatic renewal and moves the account to read-only after the paid period, as described above. Your data is preserved.

Deleting an account is a separate request. Account deletion must currently be requested through Earn4 support at support@earn4.app, is handled under the Privacy Policy and any applicable retention obligations, and is not automatically triggered when a membership is cancelled.

5. Read-only access and reactivation

When a paid period ends without renewal, the account moves to read-only status. You can still sign in and view the information already in your account, but membership features such as creating, editing, uploading, publishing, and exporting become unavailable until the membership is reactivated.

You may reactivate at any time by purchasing a current monthly or annual membership. Reactivating restores access to preserved account data where that data remains available. Temporary or intermediate working files created by features such as Highlight Builder may expire under normal retention practices and may not be recoverable.

6. Failed payments and past-due memberships

If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor may retry the payment for a limited period. While payment remains unresolved, the membership may be shown as past due and Earn4 may limit the account to read-only access.

You can update your payment method from Settings → Manage subscription. If payment is not recovered, the membership may be cancelled. Your account data remains subject to the normal Privacy Policy and retention rules.

7. Refund requests and the 30-day review window

To request a refund, contact us through the Contact page or at support@earn4.app and include the account email, the charge in question, and the reason for the request.

Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of the charge you are asking us to refund.

Submitting a request within 30 days does not guarantee a refund, and this is not a 30-day money-back guarantee. It means only that Earn4 will review your request under this Policy. Requests submitted more than 30 days after the charge may be denied, except where applicable law requires otherwise or where Earn4 determines that an exception is appropriate.

Verified duplicate charges, clear billing errors, and other circumstances that Earn4 determines are appropriate may still be reviewed outside the normal 30-day window. Your rights under applicable law are unaffected.

8. Monthly memberships

Monthly membership charges are generally nonrefundable once the monthly billing period begins. Cancelling a monthly membership stops the next renewal, does not automatically refund the current month, and does not create a prorated refund for unused days; you keep full paid access through the end of the current billing period.

A monthly charge may still be reviewed for a refund under Sections 7 and 10 through 12.

9. Annual memberships

Annual membership charges are also generally nonrefundable once the annual billing period begins, and the same 30-day request and review window in Section 7 applies. There is no separate guaranteed annual refund period, and an annual refund is not automatic merely because it is requested within the first 30 days.

When reviewing an annual refund request, Earn4 may consider:

  • the reason for the request;
  • whether there was a billing error;
  • whether there was a duplicate payment;
  • whether a verified technical problem prevented use of the Service;
  • the amount and nature of Service usage; and
  • other relevant circumstances.

Earn4 does not promise prorated refunds for the unused months of an annual membership.

10. Duplicate charges and billing errors

If Earn4 or our payment processor verifies a genuine duplicate charge or a clear billing error, Earn4 will generally refund the erroneous charge. Correcting a verified billing error is different from a discretionary goodwill refund under Section 12, and it does not set an expectation for other requests.

11. Technical problems that prevent use of the Service

Where a verified technical problem materially prevents you from using the paid Service and Earn4 cannot reasonably resolve it, Earn4 may provide an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, that may include a refund, an account credit where supported, an extension of access, or another reasonable remedy.

Not every technical issue results in a refund, and Earn4 may first attempt to resolve the problem.

12. Discretionary review, usage, and refund amounts

Refund requests are reviewed by Earn4's billing review process. Earn4 retains reasonable discretion to approve or deny voluntary refund requests consistent with this Policy and applicable law. We will review refund requests and respond within a reasonable period; where applicable law imposes a specific response requirement, Earn4 will follow that requirement.

When reviewing a discretionary request, Earn4 may consider the nature and extent of your use of the Service, including use of paid features such as Highlight Builder exports. Publishing a recruiting profile, completing Academy tasks, or completing Highlight Builder exports does not automatically make a request ineligible.

Approved refunds are generally issued against the original charge and original payment method. Earn4 may issue a full or a partial refund where appropriate, and partial refunds remain discretionary and subject to support by our payment processor. Prorated refunds are not the standard outcome of cancellation.

13. Promotional or discounted purchases

Promotional or discounted purchases follow this Refund & Cancellation Policy unless the specific promotion or offer clearly states different refund terms at the time of purchase.

14. A refund does not cancel your membership

Important: issuing a refund does not by itself cancel the underlying subscription or stop future renewals. If you do not want the membership to renew, you should also cancel it from Settings → Manage subscription or confirm the cancellation with Earn4.

15. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you see a transaction you do not recognize or disagree with, we ask that you contact Earn4 or our payment processor first where reasonable, so we can explain or correct it. Nothing in this Policy limits your lawful right to dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank.

If a charge is disputed or reversed:

  • Earn4 may restrict paid membership access or place the account into read-only status while the payment remains unresolved;
  • Earn4 may provide transaction and subscription records to our payment processor or the card network in order to respond to the dispute;
  • if the payment ultimately remains reversed, paid access may end, and resuming membership may require completing a normal checkout; and
  • fraudulent or abusive payment activity may also be handled under the Terms of Service.

16. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected on your purchase. For an approved refund, the amount processed on the original transaction, including any tax handled as part of that transaction by our payment processor, is treated according to the processor's refund and tax handling and applicable law. Earn4 does not issue separate tax-only refunds.

17. College coach accounts

College coach accounts are free. They are not subject to the paid membership cancellation and refund provisions of this Policy. Coach account eligibility, verification, and closure are governed by the Coach Terms.

18. Applicable law

Nothing in this Policy limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required by law or when changes are material. The version of this Policy in effect at the time of your charge applies to that charge.
